    The Encapsulation of Teenage Angst

    The Encapsulation of Teenage Angst

In associations with Rhea Ley Illustration and Levenshulme Inspire. The Encapsulation of Teenage Angst is a short film exploring the close relationship I have with my childhood & best friend, Rhea. We have been friends since birth, which sounds cliché but with the thanks to our parents, Rhea shares our past memories disclosing our bond in its purest forms. This is a piece for us both to discover how far we have come, growing, learning how we have inspired and help each other reach new heights. This baring the bad, the good, the strange and wonderful. Thank you Rhea This piece was inspired by @aracelilopes_ short film - ‘Looking for Belonging’

    'The Queer Icon' Pitch

    'The Queer Icon' Pitch

'The Queer Icon is a multifaceted arts project centring around the LGBTQ+ community with a specific focus on Greater Manchester based individuals. The project aims to explore how Queer identity is reflected and portrayed across different media platforms, with a blend of historical & contemporary contexts along with insights of personal experience from our broad range of interviewees. The project, in its current form, will be examined through a feature length documentary (similar to Disclosure / Paris is Burning). This a project trailer sent to only funders, not all material is my own and is copyrighted.

    The Rendering Gaze

    The Rendering Gaze

The Rendering Gaze is a video installation exploring time, distortion and narrative structure, through the boundaries between the familiar and the unknown; to investigate what we as viewers gravitate towards and how abstract manipulation challenges this. The mundane aspects are obscured by multi-layered distortion of recorded sound, images and implemented movement; this pushing us outside the frame, to reconsider what forms we are witnessing and to acknowledge the growth of new interpretations. This shaping a new perception by fabricating the truth of what we know and to create a hindrance for the remaining outsider.
